Broadland made it four league wins in a row, after a convincing win over Lakenham last Saturday. Broadland made a number of changes with Stuart Murray and Steve Street starting in the backs. In the Forwards Rye Billyard moved back in at Hooker, Adam Bensley started at lock, with Elliot Benham and Ian Mackintosh starting in the back row. Early exchanges of possession left an uneventful first twenty five minutes; it was Hooker Rye Billyard who was first on the scoreboard following a strong Broadland Maul (Unconverted). Broadland wasted no time as Forward Elliot Benham, broke through just inside the Lakenham half to score (converted Murray). Broadland maintained pressure and Captain Burling broke from the halfway line to Score. Broadland were up a comfortable 17-0 at the half time whistle. The second half began, but Broadland failed to capitalise on early territorial advantage. An injury gave Carl Cantillion the opportunity to come onto the wing. Broadland kept up the Pressure and Second Row Lee Durrant went over for an unconverted try. The Yarmouth side again pushed hard at Lakenham and Durrant was on hand to add his second of the game (unconverted), providing Broadland with a comfortable away win.
